STUDENT OUTCOME DATA (MASTER'S SLP/AUD)
There are three types of data collected addressing the experience and training of graduates:
PRAXIS EXAM PASS RATE
In order to earn the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), all graduate students must take and pass the ETS Praxis examination in their area of expertise (e.g., speech-language pathology, audiology). The department maintains a record of Praxis pass rates.
PROGRAM COMPLETION RATE
Timely completion of a course of study is an important index of program organization. Student completion rates in the accredited programs are collected and reviewed yearly.
Following graduation, the department tracks employment rates, type of facility, and state in which graduates practice. The employment rate for those seeking jobs is posted and updated annually.
