The following information is applicable to all students receiving their degree:
All students who desire a degree must have a graduation application filled out and submitted to the graduation office at USU during the first part of the semester PRIOR to the semester of graduation. Students can fill out an online application for graduation at http://www.usu.edu/registrar/htm/graduation/apply-online
Upon receipt of the graduation packet, students should sign and mail it to:
Utah State University
Dept of COMDDE
1000 Old Main Hill
Logan, UT 84322-1000
Dee Child will get the remaining signatures needed and submit it for you. Students should also include the check of their graduation fees with the packet. The fee is $10 for those who apply prior to the semester they graduate and $50 for those who apply during the semester they graduate. Students can pay graduation fees online in their Access account.
Students should plan for the graduation application process to take at least 4 to 8 weeks. Applications must be received at least two weeks before the deadline to allow adequate time for processing. Please check the USU graduation webpage at http://www.usu.edu/registrar/htm/graduation for more information.
Students can contact email@example.com during the first part of the semester PRIOR to the semester of graduation with further questions.
The status of the graduation application once it has been submitted may be checked by emailing the Graduation Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The completed Graduation Application Packet must be turned into the Registrar's Office on the following dates. The $10 application fee will be posted to your student account.
Graduating Spring: Application and fee due by December 5th.
Graduating Summer: Application and fee due by April 25th.
Graduating Fall: Application and fee due by August 5th.

Diplomas are sent to all students (main campus & distance education) approximately 8-10 weeks following graduation.
Undergraduate students who qualify for honors will have it noted on their transcript as well as on their diplomas. The undergraduate student is required to have completed 40 USU credit hours in order to qualify for Latin honors.
Degrees can be posted as early as the Monday following graduation up to about 8 weeks after graduation.
As the curriculum is designed to meet pre-professional training requirements, students completing their degree are qualified to apply for admission to American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) accredited master's programs in speech-language pathology or doctoral programs in audiology. While different graduate programs may have their own specific additional acceptance requirements, students should check with those graduate programs of interest to assure that this online degree program meets the necessary pre-graduate degree requirements.
When 2nd bachelor's degree students apply to graduate schools, some or all of their prior degree credits and grades could be calculated into the 2nd bachelor's degree GPA considered for graduate school admission. Therefore, a low GPA from a previous degree could adversely impact graduate school admission. Applicants may want to check the specific process used by those graduate schools where they will apply.
