About the Program
Nationally there is a critical need for masters or doctoral level professionals in the field of Communicative Disorders. If you already hold bachelor's degree and would like to pursue these professions, you may be lacking the required undergraduate prerequisites needed to be considered for admission into graduate programs.
The Department of Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education (COMD-DE) at Utah State University has developed a second bachelor's degree program to help fulfill this need. The second bachelor's degree also provides courses for students who may need to retake courses or establish core courses for a master's degree.
This second bachelors degree program consists of twelve COMD-DE online courses. The entire program may be completed in three semesters but can be "stretched" out over a longer period if desired.
