Public Clinics

The USU Speech-Language-Hearing Center located on the Utah State University campus in Logan offers a full range of audiology and speech-language evaluation and treatment services for children and adults of all ages in the surrounding community. Audiology and speech-language services are provided by student clinicians under the direct supervision of faculty members in the Department of Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education who are licensed and certified speech-language pathologists and audiologists.

All students, faculty, staff, and persons served in the Utah State University Speech-Language-Hearing Center are treated in a nondiscriminatory manner – that is, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national or ethnic origin, disability, age, sexual orientation, genetic information, citizenship, or status as a covered veteran. The institution, program, and clinics comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and executive orders pertaining thereto.

FEES FOR SERVICES

A fee is assessed for all clients who receive diagnostic and/or treatment services at the USU Speech-Language-Hearing Center. A current fee schedule is available upon request. The USU Speech-Language-Hearing Center bills Medicaid, as well as some private insurance companies. A sliding fee scale is available for qualified individuals who are unable to pay the standard fees. Fees are normally paid at the time of service. 

APPOINTMENTS

Clients are seen at the USU Speech-Language-Hearing Center by appointment only. To make an appointment for a hearing and/or speech-language evaluation, individuals should call the Center at 435-797-1375. Pediatric audiology and cochlear implant services call 435-797-9234.
